Today is National Rum day, and to celebrate, Male Standard is kicking off the celebrations with our right-hand man, Captain Morgan! With his flagship The Satisfaction gracing TV screens (you can catch the video exclusives before they air tonight here), showcasing the story of the icon who created the bottle of nectar we’ve all come to adore, we wanted to show you some neat ways on how you can stir rum into your summer shenanigans. Rum is a perfect addition to any below deck bar, and it’s origins add a delicious aroma to these chest-warming concoctions that we know you’ll love. Choose from the Classic Morgan’s for a sturdy take on these traditional “matey” recipes, or an infused spice blend with added cherry that we reviewed here for a kick that summons the seven seas. Below are three pirate themed recipes to get you in the swashbuckling mood, all are pirate approved!
