The title just about says it all. birddogs shorts, pants, and joggers are marked down for the first (and probably last) time ever. Shorts are down from $69 to $35-55, joggers from $118 to $55-$65, and bathing suits from $75 to $55.
How’d it happen? birddogs accidentally ordered 1 million extra units of inventory…and now they have to get rid if it. As Head of Product Spencer Swensrud put it, “We ordered too much, so now you’ll pay too little. It’s a win-win…well, it’s mostly a win for you, since it was our mistake.”
birddogs are our office’s go-to workout shorts, so we can’t wait to pick up a few more pairs at a discount. The company is best known for adding a built-in liner to shorts, which makes underwear obsolete. Other brands have added liners to their shorts since then, but none are as comfortable or as high quality as birddogs.
As one of our junior editors put it, “I’ve washed these things about 80 times, and the built-in liner is just as comfortable as it was on day one. I can’t say that about any of my other shorts, even my lululemons.”
If you’re skeptical about the built-in liner, we get it. It’s sort of weird at first, but once you get used to it, there’s no going back. And with some of the shorts starting at just $35, there’s no better time to give ‘em a shot.
