August 16th is National Rum Day. To celebrate, you need to try the Flor De Violette cocktail featuring BACARDÍ Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron.
Rum has come a long way since it was first distilled in the 17th century. Over 400 years later, rum has evolved into one of the most versatile spirits, easily enjoyed on its own or in dynamic cocktails. On August 16th, celebrate National Rum Day with a cocktail that pays tribute to this beloved spirit.
The Flor de Violette features BACARDÍ Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron, a new super-premium rum designed specifically to heighten the cocktail experience. Combined with the seasonally-appropriate floral flavors of St. Germain and Crème de Violette, this recipe results in a stunning lavender-hued cocktail that seamlessly blends each ingredient’s distinct flavor with the subtle notes of honey, pears and red currants from the rum.
