Oily skin is one of the most frustrating skin types known to man. Whether you are generally shiny, or have spot areas that accumulate oil, excess sebum is one of those conditions not easily remedied. For years, Male Standard has touted using a trial and error method of using the best mattifying face washes, and then adjusting the washing frequency to your needs. However, this can lead to dry patches, which can be equally frustrating to conquer as you have to factor in the day ahead and what moisturizing level of protection to use; not easy or enjoyable. Thankfully, those days are over.

Khiels sent Male Standard on a trip of a lifetime to Cape Canaveral, FL., to discover why their newest revelation in skin care, Aerolite, which is #spaceface technology devised by NASA, has set a new precedence in ridding oily skin from the face of the planet. Quiet literally, Khiels shot their Oil Eliminator Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face Wash to outer space to show the world that they mean business. Back at home, this is what we discovered.

Oil Eliminator Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face Wash

Khiels are ticking all the right boxes with the new Oil Eliminator Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face Wash. This soap and sulfate free cleanser power-washes excess surface oil and any embedded impurities (in your pores) without leaving skin feeling dry. Formulated with Crushed Apricot Seeds, it sloughs off dead skin cells and removes debris gently, and unclogs pores without leaving skin feeling overly dry—just clean, smooth and shine-free. With no harsh chemical exfoliants, it’s excellent for sensitive skin too. Combined with the Oil Eliminator 24-hour Anti-Shine Moisturizer and Shine Control Spray Toner, gleaming greasy foreheads and slippery chins will be a thing of the past. Safe enough to use every day, we found Khiels Oil Eliminator Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face Wash to be the most effective product in existence for ridding unwanted oily skin, bar none.

The Male Standard Verdict

As with any new skin care trend, we’re dubious to see what the effects may be. However, as Aerolite, the active ingredient is NASA approved, you won’t have to wonder for very long. The gel formula is easy to apply, and really does remove oil and debris to leave a soft, glowing canvas behind. Even if you have never had any luck with oil reducing products in the past, we highly recommend you give this one a go; it’s out of this world. At $22, and the large bottle expecting to see a good 6 months of twice daily use, we also found the Oil Eliminator Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face Wash excellent value. You’ll get a 10/10 double thumbs up from Male Standard on this one, as it truly does work.

Skin balances with just the right amount of hydration to keep oily skin and large pores at bar within a few days to one week of consistent use, and as long as you stick with it, it should stay that way indefinitely. While we got maximum benefits using the face wash with the Oil Eliminator Refreshing Shine Control Spray Toner and Oil Eliminator 24-Hour Anti-Shine Moisturizer, if you’re on a budget, stick with the face wash and you can’t go wrong. It’s also suitable for use across the body, and will tackle those backne problems too.

  1. Well if you are giving it a 10/10 I may have to give the exfoliating wash a go! I’m one of them guys that ‘suffers’ from the oily skin – but I have noticed that having a consistent routine with home made and off the shelf products can work to a certain extent!
