Jim Beam Celebrates 150th Birthday With Revival of Original Photographs
September is National Bourbon Heritage Month. And to celebrate, Jim Beam, the world’s no. 1 bourbon, has partnered with Dynamichrome, to give some classic Jim Beam photos a little color.
Jim Beam is the first consumer brand to partner with the UK-based service, who specializes in high fidelity color restoration in culture, history and entertainment. Dynamichrome has previously worked with the Imperial War Museum’s World War 1 extension and the Indian Motorcycle
Company to digital reconstruct and colorize black and white photographs.
Jim Beam selected a handful of photos that showcases the company’s long-standing history in the bourbon business, including one of Colonel James Beauregard Beam, who celebrated his 150th birthday on September 18th!
