Frank & Oak’s Announce The Traveler Men’s Footwear Collab For Fall

Men’s e-tailer Frank & Oak is thrilled to announce The Traveler, a capsule collection of footwear, canvas bags, and accessories for the modern man on the go. This will be Frank & Oak’s first-ever footwear collection, available online October 24.

“We took inspiration from around the world to craft every piece in this collection,” explained Frank & Oak Creative Director and co-founder Ethan Song. “The silhouettes, materials, and robust colors are all designed for the spry Renaissance man preparing for the journey ahead.”

Frank & Oak co-designed the collection with Little Burgundy, a division of the ALDO Group, to unite Frank & Oak’s keen understanding of modern men’s apparel and the online market with Little Burgundy’s unparalleled footwear and accessories expertise. As two Montreal-native brands with global outlooks, “the partnership instantly felt natural,” said Douglas Bensadoun, Creative Director and VP of Marketing at the ALDO Group. “The essence of the collaboration, beyond that of creating great product, was leveraging each other’s strengths. Our shared perspective and distinct expertise set the stage for a unique and on-trend collection.”

INSIDE THE TRAVELER COLLECTION

The collection takes a modern approach to timeless silhouettes that effortlessly transition from outdoor adventure to night on the town. The vintage-inspired derby shoes ($130), authentic brogues ($140), and no-fuss chukka sneakers ($130) boast the finest Portuguese suede’s and lightweight construction soles for “looks that fall somewhere between refined and casual,” Ethan Song noted.

For a polished twist on functional carryalls, the heavy canvas backpacks ($95), briefcases ($125), and laptop cases ($45) come complete with fine leather detailing and hidden utility pockets. “They’re the perfect choices for the man on the move who needs to pack light, but refuses to sacrifice on style along the way,” said Douglas Bensadoun.

The Traveler wouldn’t be complete without a few extra accessories for the journey ahead like a trendy beanie ($24), rugged wool gloves ($28) and an enamel steel mug to boot ($14).
