Now that we’ve reached the semifinals of soccer’s biggest event, I wanted to pass along some more fun and easy cocktail recipes that are sure to spice up the viewing experience for your readers. In addition to the German cocktail I sent previously, I’ve included high-res images and product information for the cocktail recipes unique to the other three countries (Netherlands, Brazil and Argentina) still fighting for the championship.
The Flying Oranje – Netherlands
The Flying Oranje – Netherlands– 1.25 oz. Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
– 4 oz. orange juice
– 1 splash(es) cranberry juice
– 1 slice(s) orange(s)
Instructions: Add Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum, orange juice, and cranberry juice in tall ice-filled glass and stir. Garnish with orange slice if desired.
Canarinho Crush – Brazil
Canarinho Crush – Brazil– 1.3 oz. Bulleit Bourbon
– 4 oz. lemonade
– 1 slice(s)lemon(s)
Instructions: Serve on the rocks or blend with ice. Garnish with a lemon slice.
La Pulga Punch – Argentina
– 0.75 oz. Crown Royal Black Whisky
– 0.5 oz. Ciroc Peach
– 0.5 oz. cranberry, orange and pineapple juices
– 0.25 oz. grenadine
– 2 oz. lemon-lime soda
Instructions: Add all the ingredients except for the soda in a mixing glass with ice. Shake well and pour into a rocks glass. Top with lemon-lime soda.
Black, Red and Whisky – Germany
Black, Red and Whisky – Germany– 1.5 oz. George Dickel No. 8
– 1/2 oz orange juice
– 1/2 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice
– 1/4 oz. homemade grenadine
Instructions: Pour ingredients into Shaker with ice. Shake and strain into Coupe glass.
