October is Breast Cancer month, and we want to share with our readers Tattoos for the Cure. It is taking place on October 9, 2010, in Pomona, CA. The pain of those affected by breast cancer is forever tattooed in our hearts. For some of us, a little pink ribbon on our sleeve or body serves as a reminder that we are vulnerable to this disease. We all have a story, and it is through our compassion as a society that we can make a difference. All the proceeds go to finding a cure for breast cancer. We have provided the link below.
Ink’d Chronicles is a custom tattoo and body piercing studio that opened in 2007. We cater to dedicated tattoo collectors, who desire custom work, specific to the unique styles of our tattoo artists, Eric, Ami and Sean. We also appreciate the opportunity to work with individuals who are either getting their first tattoo or are in the early stages of their tattoo journey. Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcome.
We provide you with a safe, clean and friendly environment to satisfy your desire for tattooing and body piercing. We are all registered with the LA County Health Dept. as Certified Body Art Technicians (blood disease prevention training). We only use brand new, sterile single-use needles for every tattoo and piercing. All other equipment is sterilized to hospital standards in order to ensure you receive a clean and safe tattoo or piercing.
We are also committed to giving back to the community. In 2008, the shop owner founded Tattoos for the Cure – an annual breast cancer charity event. held every October. The event has raised over $31,000 for the breast health program at the Lewis Family Cancer Care Center. The 6th annual Tattoos for the Cure will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2013, noon to midnight, at Ink’d Chronicles, 264 W. 2nd Street, Pomona, CA 91766.
