Nike Unveils Short Film For ‘Bring Your Game’ Campaign

Nike has entered the filmmaking field. As part of the shoemaker’s “Bring Your Game” campaign, it has unveiled a promo film featuring the seven members of its Nike Basketball family. The film debuted on Christmas, with trailers having previously aired in thousands of movie palaces.

The mini-documentary is all about what makes each athlete tick.

For Kevin Durant, it’s spending plenty of time back in his Maryland hometown, as well as giving to the community in Oklahoma City.

For Kobe Bryant, it’s meditating each morning.

Paul George relaxes by way of fishing, even if he now does it competitively.

The film also shows us Kyrie Irving’s earlier training ritual of wrapping roundballs in plastic to create the kind of weird bounces that would tighten his dribbling chops.

Also on celluloid are Elena Delle Donne, Anthony Davis, and LeBron James.

The featurette is directed by Rick Famuyiwa and takes as its theme the different paths athletes can take to success.

“There’s No One Way to Bring Your Game” is the catchphrase.  The film runs five minutes-fifteen and is available at nike.com/basketball.
