Last Thursday, KILLSPENCER celebrated the opening of its new Silverlake Workshop and Storefront with a Grand Opening Party. After almost three years in the Arts District the brand has moved to a new location that not only serves as a design and manufacturing space but now allows brick-and-mortar sales and bespoke service for clients.
KILLSPENCER debuted new items launching for holiday including an Athletics collection featuring black leather footballs and soccerballs, and baseball bats; a Bridle Leather Wallet collection; a Camera and Tech collection and a new material/colorway for the existing Classics collection, Burgundy Italian Suede.
The evening’s 300 guests were able to tour the workshop and view curated product displays while enjoying food by Guisado’s and courtesy Heineken. Notable attendees included Nev Schulman (Catfish), Levi Maestro, Joe Hahn (Linkin Park), Airi Isoda and Ryan Upton, Artist David Wiseman, Chef Roy Choy, Chris Gibbs (Union LA) and The Heavens and the Earth.
KILLSPENCER started as a personal project to a locally craft the perfect sustainable and waterproof backpack and quickly blossomed into a fulltime business. We are made in U.S.A., designing and manufacturing products out of our Silverlake Workshop. We are constantly on the search for innovative materials and processes weather new or historical and are dedicated to making products that will last the test of time.
