You might have seen these awesome longboards on the hit TV show Shark Tank. Now you can take one home and gift Dad the best gift of all — memories! Whether you’re looking to start a new hobby together, or to just give him a new way to stay heart healthy — we think everyone should go outside this Father’s Day and try something new with their old man!

Landsurfing Since 1997

Over the years of living close to Huntington beach, five brothers grew up to love the ocean and devote themselves to thoroughly enjoying it; surfing, diving, spear fishing, bodysurfing the Wedge, and eventually all become professional ocean lifeguards. With no intentions of designing a new style of skateboards, they simply wanted to make something that felt like they were riding a surfboard when they rode it. Little did they know that following their passion would lead to a family business!

Hamboards is Surf City on Wheels. For landsurfers, Hamboards build the finest handcrafted longboards, street stand up paddle boards and land paddles. Having a really fun skateboard to ride when the surf was flat became a family project. Designing over dinner (pass the ketchup) trashing the garage, littering the yards with prototypes, searching anywhere and everywhere for the just right combination of wood, wheels, trucks, bolts and bearings that would bring that unique flow and feel.

The HAMBOARDS® CLASSIC™

The HAMBOARDS® CLASSIC™  weighs in at 6’6”x15” and delivers on a longboard feel no other skateboard can accomplish, providing the full surfing experience in a surprisingly maneuverable retro-style nose rider. Only minimal effort releases the Classic’s natural flowing urge to roll, allowing it to sustain momentum better than any other longboard.

The Bamboo Fish™

The Bamboo Fish™ weighs in at 4’5”x17” and is inspired by the early 70’s fast Fish surfboard, offering the maximum maneuverability, specialized rail-to-rail driving turns, speed, power, and pumping acceleration for a ride that’s no stranger to the forces and sensations of surfing. A favorite among surfers and those who just like to carve and feel speed the Fish is the “sports car” of the Hamboards line.

The Logger was born out of a desire for a beautifully crafted, old-school Malibu style Log, you’ll notice that the Logger provides a cleaner, more glide-oriented turn than with a typical longboard skateboard. The crux of the Logger is that while having its own unique feel, it captures the essential ‘surf’ elements you find in the longer boards in the Hamboard’s line up, but in a smaller package.

This Father’s Day, we’re putting up a call to action for all surfers, skaters and active people world-wide having a blast carving big flowing turns, driving rail to rail hacks, or cross-stepping up to the nose to hang ten on their Hamboards. Whether you’re looking for a last-minute gift for Dad this Father’s Day or are looking to drop your family a hint – a HAMBOARDS makes the perfect gift.
