Future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols on His Success & Derek Jeter

Baseball enthusiast Larry King joined Future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols on the field at the beautiful Angels Stadium of Anaheim yesterday to chat about his winning team and the retirement of legend Derek Jeter. During his Larry King Now interview the baseball star tells Larry what it’s like to share the clubhouse with teammate Mike Trout and why he’s the “best player in the game”: ” He is one of the kids that is just humble…his goal everyday is just to help us out to win.” When Larry asked what Trout is like as a person Pujols said “That’s what impressed me the most. He doesn’t let all this media and contract talk get to him.”

Albert Pujols also commented on Derek Jeter’s retirement from professional baseball: “He’s amazing. He’s someone who always respects the game. He is the captain, he is going to be missed next year.”
