In the spirit of preservation, Jim Beam partnered with the Kentucky Division of Forestry (KDOF) to plant a beautiful clearing full of new White Oak saplings in the Knobs State Forest. This planting ceremony highlights the restoration and preservation efforts of KDOF, which is home to roughly a 300-mile radius of Bullitt County; a region known to grow the best White Oaks in the bourbon industry.
As part of the celebrations, Jim Beam planted a sapling in my honor; alongside other brand ambassadors and partners. Rick Price, Director of Global Environmental Stewardship for Jim Beam was on hand to discuss how Jim Beam is committed to producing high-quality bourbon while being a good steward of both the local forest and the water resource.
