Introducing the Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection by WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie
New York, New York, July 2013 – A journey can be the moment when we step outside of ourselves, open our minds, and deeply consider what is important. Indeed, travel is just as much about the journey as it is the destination.
It is the driving force behind WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie, and this season, designers Dexter and Byron Peart have taken their collection to the moon and back, with a cohesive offering of luxury accessories inspired by Moonrise and Moonset.
At Moonrise, bright earth tones of copper, rust, moss green and flecks of warm yellow reflect the sun’s last moments before setting on the foliage of fall. Moonset is translated with a darkness of color. Midnight blue, glacier grey and black onyx are reimagined with new textures that convey the solace and reflection that accompany winter’s early mornings. Bright molten orange pierces the collection with the optimism of dawn and the renewal of life’s daily voyage.
This collection brings with it a sense of duality, universality and gravity. Always true to the core identity of WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie, the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection continues to showcase simple, functional, modern and timeless designs to take on every journey.
